UK Familiarisation:
Virtual Online Workshop
The aim of the virtual online workshop is to enable a driver, unaccustomed to driving in the UK, to understand the rules and regulations of the roads. Putting the information from the Highway Code into real scenarios using film footage of various roads.
Topics covered will include:
- Vehicle checks/regulations
- Following distance
- Junction types
- Traffic lights
- Speed limits
- Drugs/Alcohol
- Mobile phone law
- Motorway regulations
Using conversational learning, being in a relaxed supportive environment will encourage the driver to ask questions freely.
The on-line course can not replace in-car training and can not give feedback about the drivers’ competence to drive.
